Sheryl Underwood, a American television personality and comedian, is most well-known as host on The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. Sheryl was lived within Little Rock. Sheryl was raised by a difficult family. She spent most of her growing up taking care of her younger sister Frankie who suffered from polio. As a child, her relationship with mother was rocky. Sheryl says that her mother was once brutally stabbed by her father because he was too close. After her graduation from college, Sheryl was a soldier in the military. Sheryl's passion for comedy was evident. She became the first female finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career started in 1992, as a participant on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She was a guest on Oh Drama! as the host in 2000. Presently, she is a co-host on the talk talk show from 2011. She has played in fictional shows like Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
