Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood, a American television personality and comedian, is most well-known as anchor of The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas, was raised between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by an extremely difficult household. Sheryl spent most of her youth helping her younger sister Frankie with polio. As a teenager, she experienced difficulties with her mother. Sheryl said she was once told that her mother had stabbed the father of her child because she was too closer to him. After her graduation from college, Sheryl was a soldier in the military. Her passion for the military was comedy. She was the first woman to be a finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She started her TV professional career in 1992, when she was a regular participant on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted the television show Oh Drama! in 2000. In the past, she has been host on The Talk since 2011. Also, she appears in fictional roles on series such Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
